ABOUT

The history of Bela Vista farm began 110 years ago, a fourth-generational family owned business run by the Lima Reis family - run today by Isabela and Toni. The unique micro climage provides an average of 1050 metres above sea level (masl) and approximately 1200-1300mm of rainfall per year.  Due to the lower altitude, this coffee has a relatively mild acidity resulting in a sweet, well balanced cup.

The processing of this lot begins with the cherries being stored in closed bags in the shade for 48 hours. They are then moved to a patio to dry for three days, followed by an additional three days in static boxes. Finally, the beans rest for 15 days before being placed in rotary dryers to finish the drying process.

To get the most balanced cup out of this coffee, we recommend brewing this one with a water temperature at around 89°C. See our brew guide for more detailed instructions.
