In 1998, Abera and his family began their coffee farm in Guji Zone's Elaferda Woreda, initially supplying red coffee to local washing stations. Struggling to sustain their livelihood, Abera relocated to Gedeb Woreda in Gedeo Zone within the Debub region in 2016. Over time, they acquired a 28-hectare coffee farm (14.50 hectares in Gedeb Woreda and 13 hectares in Guji Zone). In addition to managing the family business, Abera's son, Habtamu Abera, has been a red cherry coffee supplier to washing stations for four years and now operates his own washing site near the family farm. They utilize Habtamu's washing station for processing coffee for AMG and collaborate with the Halo Beriti cooperative on coffee harvesting, preparation, and farm management. Their farm is certified organic under AMG's RFA program.

Balanced flavour profile from the Gedeb region in Ethiopia. Coffees from this area are famous for their floral aroma, balanced taste, and sweet acidity. Because of its 36-40 hour of initial fermentation this coffee gives you a sweet raisin-like aftertaste.
