ABOUT

Our Ethiopia Chelchele is a single-origin light roast sourced from the renowned Yirgacheffe region, specifically the Chelchele area, known for its ideal coffee-growing conditions at high altitudes and fertile soil. This region is famous for producing complex and high-quality coffees that showcase the best of Ethiopian heirloom varieties.

The light roast profile preserves the bean's intrinsic flavors, highlighting distinct taste notes of peach and orange. These natural flavours contribute to a bright, clean cup with a crisp finish. The coffee’s balanced acidity and subtle sweetness make it a versatile option well-suited for most pour-over brewing methods, such as V60, Chemex, or Kalita Wave. These techniques bring out the nuanced characteristics of the coffee, emphasizing clarity and aromatic depth. Ideal for those who appreciate single-origin coffees with vibrant, fruit-forward profiles, our Ethiopia Chelchele delivers a refined and consistent brew that represents the high standards of Ethiopian specialty coffee.

To get the most balanced cup out of this coffee, we recommend brewing this one at a lower water temperature such as 89°C. See our brew guide for more detailed instructions.
